  • POST-TREATMENT CARE:
    - Purging is a normal occurrence post-facial and may happen if it’s been a while since your last facial or it’s your first time. This is your skin ridding itself of impurities and should clear up within a few days.
    - Stay cool and dry for the next 24-48 hours to avoid any sweat blisters or adverse reactions. Limit physical activity that will cause sweating or increased internal temperature.
    - Do not touch or allow any pets to kiss the treated area(s) after as this could lead to bacteria harboring on freshly exfoliated skin.

    HOMECARE DIRECTIONS:
    - Refrain from any use of physical/chemical exfoliants/retinoids 5 days after your service.
    - Be mindful of sun exposure and make sure you're wearing a daily broad spectrum SPF 30-50.
    - Stay hydrated and make sure you're drinking plenty of water.
    - For the first 24 hours, avoid steaming, saunas, and hot baths as this can irritate freshly treated skin.

  • It takes an average of 28-40 days for the skin to naturally turnover however, as we age, that process begins to slow down significantly. The slowdown of the skin’s natural shedding process is responsible for dull, lackluster-looking, dehydrated skin that has a greater appearance of fine-lines and aging.

That’s why it’s crucial to get facials every 4-6 weeks to accelerate the skin’s shedding process with proper exfoliation for glowy and healthier looking skin. Facials are also a wonderful way to increase circulation, refreshing and waking up the skin.

  • Facials are great to do from every week to every month. It’ll depend on your skincare goals, lifestyle and commitment level. Just remember each time you come in for a facial, each session builds upon the one from before.

For example, by coming in every two weeks with concerns of acne + clogged pores while using great recommended at-home care from your esthetician (twice a day) - this can be a surefire way to help minimize any chances of breakouts and inflammation, while maintaining the health of the skin and feeling excellent about it.

  • As wonderful as it would be to just come in for monthly facials, it’s even more imperative to have a great and consistent skincare regimen at home.

We like to go by the 80/20 rule. 100% of your results will depend on 80% of everything you’re doing at home and all the products you use twice a day, while 20% of the results are what we do in the treatment room when you come see us monthly!

  • For clients that are minors, we allow only those over the age of 12. Any minor under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. If under 18 years old, they must either have a parent/guardian present or have written parental/legal guardian consent.
